[AI-announce] Platzvergabe Seminare und Praktika (Projekte) / Allocation of places for seminars and practical courses (projects)

Liebe Studierende,

ab dem 01.08.24 findet ihr zu allen im WiSe 24 angebotenen Seminaren und 
Praktika (bzw. auch Klein-Projekte in ITS und Informatik) im jeweiligen 
Veranstaltungseintrag in eCampus Informationen zur Platzvergabe durch 
die Lehrstühle. Im Eintrag findet ihr i.d.R. die folgenden Angaben:

  * Wann findet die Veranstaltung statt?
  * Wie viele Plätze gibt es?
  * Was muss ein*e Studierende*r tun, um einen Platz zu erhalten? (z.B.
    Mail schreiben an x.y at rub.de oder einschreiben in Moodle-Kurs, etc.)
  * Bis wann muss die/der Studierende das getan haben?
  * Wann bekommt die/der Studierende Rückmeldung, ob sie/er den Platz
    bekommen hat?

Für die Platzverteilung sind entsprechend die jeweiligen Lehrstühle 
zuständig. Bei Rückfragen wendet euch also direkt an den Lehrstuhl. 
Weder Studienberatung noch Prüfungsamt sind in diese Prozesse involviert 
und können Auskunft geben. Viele Lehrstühle vergeben die Plätze 
selbstständig, andere nutzen dafür einen gemeinschaftlichen Moodle-Kurs 
(https://moodle.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/course/view.php?id=59492, ab 01.08. 
verfügbar), wo die Bewerbung auf die Plätze im gesamten August erfolgt 
und die Zuteilung dann Anfang September bekannt gegeben wird.

_*Ganz wichtig:*_ Vergesst nicht euch auch zur zugehörigen Prüfung 
fristgerecht über Flexnow anzumelden sobald ihr eine Platzzusage 
habt!!!! Semesterbegleitende Seminare / Praktika sind zwischen dem 
01.09. und 21.10.24 anzumelden. Seminare und Praktika, die im Block am 
Ende der Vorlesungszeit bzw. in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit stattfinden, 
sind während der Anmeldephase für Abschlussprüfungen anzumelden.

Welche Seminare/Praktika für den jeweiligen Studiengang im WiSe 24/25 
geöffnet sind, könnt ihr über die Modulübersicht auf unserer Homepage 
bzw. über die jeweilige Modulbeschreibung in eCampus einsehen. Aber auch 
hier werden die Einträge erst ab dem 01.08.24 in aktueller Form vorliegen.

Dear students,

from 01.08.24 you will find information on the allocation of places by 
the chairs for all seminars and practical courses (and also small 
projects in ITS and Computer Science) offered in WiSe 24 in the 
respective course entry in eCampus. You will usually find the following 
information in the entry:

  *      When does the course take place?
  *      How many places are available?
  *      What does a student have to do to get a place? (e.g. write an
    email to x.y at rub.de or register in a Moodle course, etc.)
  *      By when does the student have to have done this?
  *      When will the student receive feedback on whether he/she has
    been allocated a place?

The respective chairs are responsible for allocating places. If you have 
any questions, please contact the chair directly. Neither the Student 
Advisory Service nor the Examinations Office are involved in these 
processes and can provide information. Many chairs allocate the places 
independently, others use a joint Moodle course 
(https://moodle.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/course/view.php?id=59492, available 
from 01.08.), where applications for places are made throughout August 
and the allocation is then announced at the beginning of September.

_Very important:_ Don't forget to register for the corresponding exam 
via Flexnow as soon as you have a place confirmation!!!! Seminars / 
practical courses during the semester must be registered for between 
01.09. and 21.10.24. Seminars and ipractical courses that take place in 
a block at the end of the lecture period or during the lecture-free 
period must be registered for during the registration phase for final 
examinations.

You can see which seminars/practical courses are open for the respective 
study program in winter semester 24/25 via the module overview on our 
homepage or via the respective module description in eCampus. But here 
too, the entries will only be available in their current form from 01.08.24.
