[Geoqus] ABAQUS and Soil Nailing Wall Modelling

Hi There,

 I am new in this great ABAQUS forum. Actually I am doing a research on the impact of frost action on the soil nailing wall. I ran into some problems and really appreciate if you can help me out regarding that. I explain a bit more about that.

 I deal with a 2D plain strain soil, plus concrete wall and steel nail which both is modeled beam element. Also As you now the model should be made based on staged construction. I have not problem in modelling stage construction, but my problem is mostly about interactions and thermal analysis.

 To be more exact, I do not what interaction I should define between soil / nail and soil / wall after each excavation, besides How can I apply temperature to my model?

 I have made this model and if you need I can send you to examine.
