[Geoqus] Importing surfaces

Now I have the points, how can I convert them into surface by defining the complexity
Then convert into solid

I used Rhino3D with great success for this purpose. You can try Rhino3D for free at

www.rhino3d.com<http://www.rhino3d.com>

(in Rhino3D)
Import xyz data
Triangulate
Compute equivalent analytical surface (you choose the complexity)
Convert to solid
Export in .sat
Import into Abaqus CAE

I used this method to construct the volcano model in the attached file. Note the irregular topographic surface that was constructed with Rhino3D.

I sent an email couple of weeks ago asking about how can I import an ASCII surface with XYZ values into Abaqus
I tried Autocad but didn`t work

Any idea?
