     "Arithmetic on Hyperelliptic curves of genus 1 and 2"

Abstract

The talk is about arithmetic on hyperelliptic curves of genus 1 and 2  over
finite fields of even characteristic. It discusses the group  operations for
these curves and presents new doubling formulas for some  cases. Furthermore
it presents the comparison we've made between  different implementations of
calculating scalar multiples on Koblitz  curves and with different bases for
the field.
