Dear Friends of CHES,

A few important updates about CHES 2005 in Edinburgh:

1) The review process has been completed. A list of accepted
papers can be viewed on the CHES website: www.chesworkshop.org

2) The registration has started! For the first time, electronic
registration is possible. Please visit the CHES web site.

3) You can also find information about hotels, travel etc. on the
CHES web site.

4) For the second year, there will be a CHES rump session. The
rump session is an informal session in which participants give
short presentations on recent results, work in progress, and other
topics of interest to the CHES community. Presentations that are
not purely technical in nature are also possible (we are not
opposed to jokes and puns!)

5) Immediately following CHES, there will be a one-day Workshop on
Fault Detection and Tolerance in Cryptography (FDTC 2005). Again,
the CHES website has more information.

Hope to see many of you in Edinburgh,

Christof Paar
