Cryptographic Engineering
September 24-28, 2007
EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland
This is course for hardware and software design engineers in industry
interested in embedding cryptography into their products. The course is
also suitable for master's and Ph.D. students, and researchers who would
like to learn the state-of-art in cryptographic hardware and embedded
systems.
The course coordinator is Prof. Cetin Kaya Koc, Oregon State
University, a
co-founder of Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded System (CHES) Workshop.
Come to meet the top experts, scientists, and engineers who are at the
forefront of cryptographic design, e.g., Prof. Ingrid Verbauwhede (KU
Leuven), Prof. Christof Paar (Ruhr-University Bochum, co-founder of
CHES),
Dr. Francois-Xavier Standaert (UCL Crypto Group), Dr. Werner Schindler
(BSI), Marc Joye (Thomson R&D), Pankaj Rohatgi (IBM), and Jean-Pierre
Seifert (SISA). This year we also have an invited speaker: Prof. Arjen
Lenstra from EPFL.
This course is offered every year, at the campus of EPFL (Ecole
Polytechnic Federal de Lausanne). Each day we have 4 lectures, each
lasting 1.5 hours. There are coffee breaks between lectures, and lunch
breaks at noon, and als a banquet dinner, on Tuesday.
To register, please go to the website of the course organizer Mead
Education, here: http://www.mead.ch/htm/ch/Crypto_07.html
