Call for Papers

WEWoRC '07 (http://www.hgi.rub.de/weworc07/) is a research meeting in
the field of cryptology.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following
. Foundations of cryptology (e.g., from computational number theory, 
complexity theory, combinatorics)
. Secretkey cryptosystems and hash functions
. Publickey cryptosystems
. Modes of operation (e.g., authenticated encryption and signcryption)
. Cryptographic protocols (e.g., privacy, mobile security, distributed 
cryptography)
. Implementation of cryptosystems and their integration into secure systems
. Secure operating systems and trusted computing
. Applications such as watermarking and code obfuscation

The workshop will be held in the Bochum which has a rich mining
tradition. Note that Bochum's region, the RuhrGebiet,
will be
cultural capital of Europe in 2010. The workshop is jointly
organised between the German special interest group of applied
cryptology ("FG Angewandte Kryptologie") and the HorstGörtzInstitute
for Security.
Those who wish to give a talk are invited to submit an extended
abstract of 12
pages (short talk) or 35
pages (long talk) using the
template provided on the workshop homepage. The workshop language is
English.

Submission Deadline: May 27, 2007
Notification of Acceptance: June 4, 2007
Early Bird Registration: June 6, 2007
Registration Deadline: June 17, 2007
Workshop: July 46, 2007

Conference records will contain all abstracts submitted before the
deadline and will be distributed during the workshop. In addition,
they will be made available online through the workshop
homepage. A number of selected articles will be published in
postproceedings.
Here, emphasis is given to young researchers. The
postproceedings are planned to appear in the "Lecture Notes in
Informatics" (LNI).
