Wilhelm Leibniz-Preis ausgezeichnet worden. Diese prestigeträchtige Auszeichnung durch die Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) gilt als einer der wichtigsten Forschungsförderungspreise in Deutschland. Kiltz hat den Preis unter anderem für seine wegweisenden

<span style="font-family:RubFlama;color:#003560;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">Der Forschungsbereich der Post-Quanten-Kryptographie ist heute ein essenzieller Bestandteil der Cybersicherheit. Denn der Einsatz von Quantencomputern rückt immer näher – und aktuelle
Verschlüsselungsverfahren, die unsere digitalen Daten sichern, würden dann nicht mehr greifen. Kiltz hat zusammen mit Kollegen ein neues Verfahren entwickelt, das vom US-amerikanischen „National Institute of Standards and Technology“ (NIST) zum Standard in
der Technologie gemacht wurde.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
