The Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Information Sciences of the
Ruhr-Universität Bochum is seeking to appoint a
 
*Assistant Professor (Juniorprofessor) for Secure Hardware*
 
The successful candidate will have a strong research record in the field
of hardware and security. The research interests should include on one
or more of the following areas:
 
-      Highly efficient cryptographic implementations
 
-       Reverse engineering of hardware and software
 
-       Physical security
 
-       Lightweight cryptography
 
International visibility through publications and first experiences with
externally funded projects and/or industry experience are an advantage.
In addition to research, contributing to the department’s teaching
offerings is expected.
 
The position is integrated in the Horst Görtz Institute for IT-Security,
one of the leading university-based research centres in this field.
