SecHuman Summer School 2017 - Call for Participation

The Horst Görtz Institute for IT-Security is pleased to announce the
first SecHuman Summer School for talented junior researchers:


SecHuman Summer School - Usable Security and Privacy

The Summer School addresses young researchers with an interest in
interdisciplinary questions in IT security. Leading authorities in the
field of human factors in security will provide an overview of this
growing area and introduce current research topics..

The Summer School presents a unique opportunity to meet fellow
researchers with various backgrounds including technical disciplines,
but also from other areas including law, linguistics, journalism, media
science, education as well as social science. Over the course of four
days, issues related to usable security will be discussed. The last day
will be dedicated to privacy issues. The lectures will be accompanied by
discussion groups and exercises, which provide an opportunity to gain a
more in-depth understanding and to relate to ones own reserch interests.
The Summer School will be held in English with the exception of the last
day, when talks will be in German.
