Today: Award Ceremony of the Leibniz Prize for Eike Kiltz in the online stream from 4 PM
Today, Professor Eike Kiltz will be honored with the prestigious Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize<https://casa.rub.de/en/news/casa/news/eike-kiltz-receives-the-leibniz-prize> at the official award ceremony in Berlin. The Prize of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) is endowed with 2.5 million euros and is considered the most important research funding award in Germany.
The award ceremony will be live-streamed starting at 4 PM (GMT+1) on the -> DFG YouTube channel<https://www.youtube.com/@DFGbewegt>. Additionally, the DFG film portrait of Eike Kiltz, specially produced for the award ceremony, will be available on the same channel from 4 PM onwards.

Invitation to Science Talks Event "CyBARsecurity" on March 14, 2024
Drinks and Digital Security :The CyBARsecurity event is back for the second round! IT security experts from the Cluster of Excellence CASA and the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security will explain their latest research topics in a relaxed bar atmosphere. CASA PhD Phillip Gajland will explain how new cryptographic techniques can shield us from potential threats by quantum computers. Dr. Max Hoffmann will give a talk on "Car theft via USB cable? Cybersecurity in the automotive industry". Registration is not necessary; the event is open to all interested parties. (In German language)

CASA PI Angela Sasse received Test of Time Award
CASA PI M. Angela Sasse has been honored with the prestigious Test of Time Award at this year's "Symposium on Usable Security and Privacy (USEC)" in California for her paper "Users are not the enemy". With its enduring impact in the field of usability and cyber security, Angela Sasse advocates for user-centered design approaches that empower rather than blame users. New Mini-Series Launched: One Year at CASA with Yixin Zou
