Eine personelle Veränderung des Vorsandes war durch das Ausscheiden dreier bisheriger Vorstandsmitglieder notwendig geworden: Jun.-Prof. Dr. Manuel Borutta wurde auf eine Professur für Neuere und Neueste Geschichte an die Universität Konstanz berufen, Prof. Dr. Christof Berns folgte einem Ruf an das Institut für Archäologie und Kulturgeschichte des antiken Mittelmeerraumes der Universität Hamburg, und Dr. Anja Zorob trat eine Stelle als DAAD-Langzeitdozentin an der Birzeit Universität in Ramallah an.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Auf der Mitgliederversammlung am 20. Dezember als Vorstandsmitglied bestätigt wurden Prof. Dr. <b>Markus Koller</b> (Geschichte des Osmanischen Reiches und der Türkei) und Dr. <b>Kristin Platt</b> (Institut für Diaspora- und Genozidforschung). Neu in den Vorstand gewählt wurden Prof. Dr.<b> Cornelia Jöchner</b> (Kunstgeschichte der Frühen Neuzeit mit Schwerpunkt Architektur), Junior-Prof. Dr. <b>Verena Krebs</b> (Mittelalterliche Kulturräume und ihre Verflechtungen), und Prof. Dr. <b>Thomas Feldhoff</b> (Geographisches Institut, Humangeographie).
