The NeuroPhysiome Workshop takes place at the Okinawa Institute of
Science and Technology, Japan, October 4-6, 2010.

The workshop covers the commonalities between multiscale modelling of
cellular and molecular processes and neuronal systems physiology. How
does robust function emerge from complex, plastic processes? The goal
of the workshop will be to address the need for better communication
and interaction between the system's biology and computational
neuroscience communities. It will focus on bridging the divide in
cellular modeling that is present in both fields, and look at
parallels between neuronal network computation and signaling network
computation.
Two focus points will serve to foster discussion:
	* Multiscale neural control of cardiorespiratory function:
bridging gene networks to neural networks;
	* Multiscale modeling and systems biology of synapses and
synaptic plasticity.

Participation to the workshop is free but limited by the size of the
seminar room. Interested scientists need to register in advance and
take care of their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Program and registration are available at

This workshop is supported by the US-Japan Brain Research Cooperative
Program (NIH/NIPS).
