Biomedical cybernetics - a list processor for scientists in medicine, life sciences, psychology, and related fields. As theory of intercausal networks, cybernetics delivers a fundamental description for commuications and organizationational processes in dynamic systems. Its sub-disciplines like information theory, systems sciense, artificial intelligence, connectionism, diktyology , decision theory and education technology promise a fruitious expansion of both modelling and practical aspects of life sciences. Despite of their heterogenous aims these branches complement each other in their foundations and in methodological aspects. It is the goal of biomedical cybernetics to combine this diversity to a reasonable whole and to foster a transdisciplinary cooperation of the branches.
