Dear Sir or Madam,
with this email we would like to invite you to participate in the
workshop
"Statistical and dynamical models in biology and medicine"
which is going to be held on Thursday, October 11, and Friday, October
12, 2012 in Stuttgart.
The workshop is jointly organized by the GMDS (www.gmds.de) / IBS (http://www.biometrische-gesellschaft.de
) working groups 'Statistical methods in bioinformatics' and
'Mathematical models in medicine' with the primary goal to bring
together researchers from different areas such as bioinformatics,
biostatistics and systems biology, who are interested in modeling and
analysis of biological systems or in the development of statistical
methods with applications in biology and medicine.
This year, the following sessions are planned:
- Dynamic models in biology (keynote lecture: Hidde de Jong)
- Computational Immunology (keynote lecture: Thomas Höfer)
- Probabilistic Networks in Biology (keynote lecture: Marco Grzegorczyk)
- Statistical models for genomics (keynote lecture: Stephane Robin)
For further information, please visit the workshop website:
http://www.ams.med.uni-goettingen.de/modelling_workshop_2012
There is NO registration fee. However, you would need to register via
the website until September 30th 2012.
