We have a great program shaping up, and we have had a number of requests for extensions of the deadline for submitting an abstract to INSC.
 
The deadline has been extended to Thursday, January 31, 2019


  
Yet another reason to come to Coimbra: The Biblioteca Joanina
 
This library has a 100% ecological system to preserve the large collection of old and rare books. It has an efficient night crew of cleaners: A colony of bats that every evening consume insects that might otherwise damage the books. Unfortunately, visitors can't see them, because during the day they are sleeping, hidden in the ceilings and shelves. 
 
So, send in that Abstract!
