You should read ABAQUS Answer 647 in the AOSS (My ABAQU link on the ABAQUS external web site). It will tell you how to use up to 3
GBytes when using Windows XP.

Subject: [Geoqus] ABAQUS Data Storage Manager error

Hi,

When I run a Abaqus/explicit analysis, I got the following error messages:

***ERROR: ABAQUS Data Storage Manager error
***ERROR: blo_Access, Access Block
***ERROR: NoDyn, Unable to obtain sufficient dynamic memory
***ERROR: Use command "Limit" to increase datasize or contact your system
manager.

The job has 200,000 D.O.F. My OS is windows XP, the memory is 2G and the
virtual memory are set to 3096MB. How can I "Use command "Limit" to increase
datasize"?

Your help is greatly appreciate.

Sam
