Cordial invitation to the Inaugural Symposium of the Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security

In this year, the Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security<https://www.uaruhr.de/researchallianceruhr/trustworthydatascienceandsecurity.html.en> was founded. The Center addresses the trustworthiness of intelligent systems, e.g., in safety-critical applications of social media. A unique, human-centered research approach covers the entire interdisciplinary research of trustworthy data analytics, explainable machine learning, and privacy-aware algorithms. It is part of the Research Alliance Ruhr that was founded by the RUB, TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen to bundle their top international research on grand challenges of humankind.To launch a lecture series.

The Center invites you to the RUB on May 23 at 3:30 pm. There is also the possibility to participate virtually.

Shyam Sundar, Professor of Media Effects, Co-Director Media Effects Research Laboratory and Director of the Center for Socially Responsible Artificial Intelligence, Penn State University
