During the last decade a large number of applications have been
transformed to comply with new technologies and digital
infrastructures as provided by the Internet of Things (IoT) or
large-scale computations in the Cloud. Despite of their fundamental
difference in technology, IoT and Cloud often have common
ground since many applications demand for interactions and shared
interfaces between both worlds. So many IoT devices are connected to
Cloud services and this connection often involves much more than just
sharing a plain communication link. In particular, the security
concept of a Cloud and IoT-enabled application explicitly needs
to consider the particular constraints and requirements of both worlds.

This workshop aims at bringing the community of IoT security and
Cloud security specialists together in order to present and discuss
recent challenges and advances in the field of security and
cryptography for both worlds.

This is a two-day workshop funded by the European Commission under
the umbrella of the H2020 projects ECRYPT-NET and ECRYPT-CSA. The
workshop will implement a special session format starting each session
with an opening talk in order to address and introduce the most pressing
topics in cryptography for each respective technology. For each session
the opening talk is followed by several "flashlight" talks to give
further insights on more specific aspects, challenges, solutions but
also open questions. Each session is finally concluded by a panel
discussion that should pave the way for new ideas and directions for
future research in cryptography for IoT and Cloud.
